This one still has the early very attractive Tortoise Shell pickguard grain with nitrate (green guard) layers. Excellent condition guitar displaying light players wear with a few case rubs on the side of the body and fine finish checking. Cool original store sticker still on the back of the headstock. If that was not enough the guitar is in "Time Capsule" condition. The protective wrap is still on the pickguard and backplate. The original store price tag of $1100 is still on the pickguard! Included is all the Case Candy. We decided to not open the sealed Case Candy bag but the Manuals, Tremolo Arm, Cord, Polishing Cloth, and tags can be seen inside. 1985 Fender 57 Reissue Stratocaster Black
If you have studied USA Vintage Reissue Strats from the 1980s, you know that 1985 Reissues are the hardest year to find.
