1975 Gibson L-6S Maroon Sparkle Red Glitter
A Rare original Maroon Sparkle L-6S. With Gibson trying to market to the new Glam Rock genre, Gibson introduced a series of Sparkle finishes in the mid 1970s. While the L-6S and Grabber Bass Sparkle finishes usually fly under the radar we have had a few of these very Rare examples over the years. Gene Simmons most notably used a Grabber Bass in this same Maroon Sparkle Finish in the mid 1970s. We have heard a few names for this color and to my knowledge Gibson never gave it an official name. We have seen in a few neck pockets the words "Red Glitter" in black marker from the factory; however, the color in person is more of a Maroon/Burgundy transparent finish with a Glitter or Sparkle on top. This example displays some normal wear and tear but is all original. Slightly bent but functional G tuner. Get the finish under the lights and the Glitter just dances. Included is the original hardshell case. OHSC $1595

A very unique Custom Ordered Left Handed Les Paul Deluxe. This guitar has a few special features that sets its apart from your run of the mill Lefty Les Paul from the time period. The guitar features a Rare two piece maple top with Blister Birds Eye figuring. Most 1970s Gibson Lefty necks were obviously converted right handed necks where you have side markers on both sides of the neck. This one from start to finish was crafted to be a Left Handed neck with position markers only on the bass side. The neck also features a Left handed oriented Les Paul logo on a Small Headstock, seldom seen during the time period. Cherry Sunburst Finish, Mahogany neck, Gibson Deluxe tuners, light weight stop tailpiece and ABR-1 bridge. Newer jack plate. Appears to have once had a store sticker on the back of the headstock. No cracks or repairs. The guitar currently has an older blank truss rod cover that may not be original. The guitar came to us with replaced volume pots and the originals were in the case. We have reinstalled the original 1974 dated pots and they work without issue. Guitar comes with its original purple lined hardshell case with missing handle. A very Special Lefty Les Paul. OHSC $5000

1996 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Custom Order Semi-Hollowbody
This is a very unique guitar that was Custom Ordered from Gibson. The body is a semi-hollow body with a carved out mahogany body with a center block running from the neck/body joint to the stop tailpiece, two piece maple top, 57 Classic Pickups, Gold Hardware, Grover Tuners, Tobacco Sunburst Finish with Dark Walnut Back and Sides, and Gibson Custom Shop Logo on the back of the headstock with inked on serial number. Being a semi hollow body the guitar has impressive acoustic volume along with added sustain and resonance while not just being a ball of uncontrollable feedback when amplified due to the lack of F-holes. The guitar is in excellent plus condition displaying very little playwear with some hardware oxidation and a few fine finish checking lines on the top. This is in a time when Gibson was starting to experiment with semi-hollow Les Pauls that would include the Les Paul Florentine model. This is a very rare Custom Ordered one off guitar as confirmed by Gibson, that if commissioned today I can only cringe at what Gibson would now charge to make a comparative guitar. Guitar comes with its original brown pink lined hardshell case. OHSC $3595
